Hello and thanks for stopping by!
If you’re here, you’re probably ready to make your business run better, faster, and with a lot more freedom in your life. I’ve spent nearly three decades figuring out how to make work easier, not harder—and trust me, I know what it’s like to feel that no one can do the job as well as you. But as a quadriplegic, I’ve had to learn how to build systems that let me succeed on my own terms and how to help others do the same.
My journey with efficiency began in IT, where I wasn’t formally trained and definitely didn’t have an “easy button” for figuring things out. I was putting in twice the effort to complete tasks that my peers handled with ease. So, I got creative and designed my own systems to streamline my work. Before long, not only was I keeping up, but I was outperforming my peers. I was brought on at a large utility company, where I took a full-time role that initially required 40 hours a week and managed to bring it down to just 4. Soon enough, I was handling four different roles—working smarter, not harder, became my superpower.
And because I apparently love a challenge, I decided to take a deep dive into an entirely new industry: I opened up a pizzeria called Pizza Master Fusion. Now, I hadn’t even set foot in a restaurant kitchen before, let alone run a food business. I didn’t know what a float was (seriously, I thought a float was just ice cream and soda!). But I knew systems, process optimization, and automation, and I knew that if I could create efficient workflows, I’d be able to keep things running—even while working my full-time job.
Over the next five years, the pizzeria thrived and quickly made a name for itself. Our fusion pizzas won awards, got glowing reviews, and ranked among the top three pizzerias in Calgary. But then life threw a big challenge my way: my husband faced a long hospital stay, and I knew I had to focus on him. I put the business up for sale but didn’t step foot into the shop for months. No phone calls, no ordering inventory—nothing. The systems were strong enough that my staff handled everything, from daily operations to customer service, without a hitch. And because of the independence and value I’d built into it, I was able to sell the business for 4.5 times the market average.
That was my 'aha' moment. I was about to launch a new pizza concept that I thought could scale, but I realized there was a bigger purpose here. I wanted to help other business owners build businesses that can run without them and give them true freedom. I know firsthand that the strongest position you can have is a business that works for you, not the other way around.
So here’s the real question: is your business supporting your life, or are you constantly supporting it? Too many owners get trapped in the day-to-day grind, thinking nobody else can do it as well as they can. I understand that feeling well. But I’m here to show you a different way—a way that gives you more time for what really matters: family, friends, your health, or just taking a break for your own peace of mind.
If you’re ready to explore how to make your business serve you, I’d love to talk. It’s not just possible to create this freedom; it’s essential. Let’s build a business that gives you back your time, freedom, and peace of mind. Reach out, and let’s make it happen!
